Infection Controller Officer at Pegasus Healthcare

Achievement:

  • In my role at Pegasus Healthcare, there were some difficulties in tracking and verifying records since the staff is rotated frequently, then the product missing the traceability of the testing or service operation, leading to repetitive tasks by the staff who receive the shift, which creates a risk of delays and decreases the number of products available.

  • I created a tracking system to consolidate and categorise information by the workflow state of the product, service, testing, charging, packing and other states. I used clear labelling to inform the incoming shift staff of the priority task. When unexpected issues arose, I quickly shared the benefits of following the new labelled tracking system to maintain progress.

  • All compliance reports for late delivery and maintenance schedules were reduced, and the reprocessing and redundant operations were eliminated, meeting time standards. My thinking and decisions to improve make timely operations, and prioritising work ensures deadlines are consistently met.
